Are we going to make it?

453 pages of family group sheets.  Perhaps we bit off more than we could chew?  I'm not sure how much we've gotten done and how much we have left.  Wouldn't you know it- I'm the one who has the most to do.  What was I thinking taking on something like this in the middle of Christmas rush?
One week left.  I'll let you know.

You have done an incredible job teaching your kids lots of genealogical skills during this family project. I have been touched by the non-genealogical skills you have also been able to teach. Don't be so hard on yourself. It would be a great lesson to teach your kids, if you are not able to finish by your deadline, that sometimes we bite off more than we can chew at the time and we do the very best we can. Good for them to learn at an early age, that sometimes "life happens" and we have to adjust.
You are awesome!
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.

Thanks for the encouragement Pam. We'll see if it's a lesson in "life happens" or if it's a lesson in "perseverance makes success." I know they've learned alot either way. We'll know in a week. But hopefully that won't be the end of our efforts in family history. I've already got lots of other plans.
